Our Team

The attorneys at the law firm of Watts Law Group PLLC have more than 40 years of combined experience in the practice of law. Our broad collective background allows us to provide quality legal services in a variety of key practice areas, including estate planning and probate, homeowners association law, foreclosures, construction law, criminal law, business law and collections, personal injury and family law.

Attorney S. Denise Watts is licensed to practice in South Carolina and North Carolina. All of our lawyers are licensed to practice in North Carolina, and we are all members of the 15th Judicial District Bar, the Brunswick County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Watts is admitted to handle cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and the South Carolina Bar.

BILLIE BROADFOOT

Paralegal

Ms. Broadfoot began her paralegal career in Florence, Alabama in 2009 providing legal support to 3 attorneys at The Shoals Law Group, with attorneys Aldridge, Franks and Lyons handling complex criminal and domestic matters. She expanded her experience and technical skill when she joined R. Willson Jenkins, P.C. to include law office management, long term disability benefits (ERISA) and bankruptcy. Ms. Broadfoot and her family moved to North Carolina in 2018 where she continued her paralegal experience including law office management, domestic matters, wills and probate. Ms. Broadfoot joined Watts Law Group, in August of 2020 and will be assisting in lien filings, probate and criminal matters.

Ms. Broadfoot has been married to Michael Broadfoot for 17 years and they have 2 children. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach, red wine, Alabama football and shopping at Billy Reid.

Dana Ganis has been a member of the Watts Law Group PLLC team since August 2019 as a highly qualified legal assistant. She handles greeting our clients, answering the phones, scheduling appointments, along with handling the everyday running of our front office. Dana also assists our attorneys and paralegals with daily tasks and oversees the upkeep of the firm’s filing system. Dana is a Horry County native, mother to daughter, Mishai and wife to Daniel. Dana also graduated from Georgetown Technical College in Conway, SC with an Associate’s degree in Accounting.

LORRIE JOWANNA

Legal Assistant

Lorrie Jowanna has been a member of the Watts Law Group PLLC team since August 2020 as a legal assistant. She handles greeting our clients, answering the phones, scheduling appointments, along with handling the everyday running of our front desk. Lorrie also assists our attorneys and paralegals with daily tasks and oversees the upkeep of the firm’s filing system. Lorrie is originally from Jacksonville, FL, and moved to North Carolina when she was 16 years old. She is currently working on going back to school to get her law degree. She enjoys hanging out with friends, binge watching Netflix, and going to Insomnia Cookie.

KIMBERLY VINSON

KIMBERLY VINSON

Kimberly Vinson lived in Greensboro, North Carolina, for the past 30 years and in June of 2015, she and her family moved to Brunswick County, North Carolina. Kimberly worked as an administrative assistant for more than 20 years, even co-owning a successful pest control company in the 90’s. Her legal career began in July 2015 with Watts Law Group PLLC. Kimberly has put her skills and knowledge to use and utilizes her knowledge to assist the attorneys with clients in the areas of civil litigation, homeowners associations, collection, estate administration, estate planning, trusts, power of attorneys, and last will and testaments. In Dec. 2016, Kimberly obtained her paralegal certification from North Carolina State University.
